QUIET, EFFICIENT, VERSATILE
Performance and Value Built
for a Lifetime of Use

A tumbler drum this unique deserves to be mounted on a machine equal in quality and durability. We've paired modern manufacturing with old school craftsmanship to create a tumbler that spares no detail:
  • 90 durameter urethane rollers mounted on carbon steel shafts
  • cast iron grease-able flange, mounted ball bearings
  • a carbon steel frame, with quiet and smooth zinc-cast pulleys mounted externally to accommodate easy belt changes.
  • a quality 1/4 HP. motor in a anti-vibration mount
  • rubber end leveling legs
  • attractive oak cabinet grade plywood side panels to help absorb vibration

It doesn’t get any better than this.

DESIGN FEATURES

Aside from the obvious advantages of having four separate cylinders in the same drum, you can expect the Range Miner tumbler to perform in the following ways:
  1. The cylinders that are placed in the outer drum, orbit around the horizontal center and they are positioned canted to the center. There are no obstructions or paddles within the cylinders to interfere or separate the stones  from the media. A constant horizontal shifting or sliding movement along with an orbital rotation ensures contact between the media and stones producing efficient excellent results.
  2. The noise associated with the tumbling process is mitigated by the outer sound chamber. The sound the machine produces originates in the running gear, the stone and media mixture is quieted if not eliminated; it’s easy on the ears. Now there is no good reason you should accept results not up to your standard. Change something and do it again.
  3. The 4 inner cylinders are easily removed, loaded and unloaded. When loaded the typical cylinder weight is a manageable 10 to 12 pounds wet, 8to 9 pounds dry.
  4. Various cylinder combinations in one cycle are readily achieved.
  5. The complex design is overshadowed by its apparent simplicity. Rugged, built for a lifetime of service, it is a pleasure to use.
